John J. Craciun III (better known as “Jack”) is an American-educated China Specialist whose literally earth-shaking work in broadcast and print media has consistently and repeatedly redefined international consumer product manufacture and marketing based on creating and defining demographic groups with expendable income.  His hallmark humanitarian endeavors and initiatives perpetuate the pioneering spirit of his family name, Romanian for “Christmas.”

He attended Ohio's University of Toledo, where he majored in Business Administration. He is the father of eight children. In 1967 he began his career in marketing as Regional Promotions Director for Liberty-Blue Note Records. In six months on the job, his marketing and sales team broke the Fifth Dimension's song, "Up, Up, and Away," and Vicky Carr's "It Must Be Him," promoting sales in excess of 2 million records.

Drawn by the dynamics of print and broadcast media news, advertising and promotions, he returned to Cleveland and became an account executive with Spizel Advertising. There he contributed to the production and marketing of the most successful fundraising program, at that time, in the history of the Cleveland Orchestra, which featured the Cleveland Browns, and helped the agency win numerous Advertising and Public Relations Awards. Spizel Advertising positioned Mr. Craciun to use client radio budgets to fund the establishment and early stage development of WNCR-FM, the first commercial Progressive Rock FM radio station in the US, making WNCR the number one FM radio station in the USA, and making Cleveland, Ohio the Rock and Roll Capital of the World, as well as developing the FM Progressive Rock format into a revolutionary power in radio. These defining, cornerstone accomplishments led to the erection of the $120 million Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland.

The marketing impact of WNCR's Progressive Rock Format took the US per household market penetration rate of FM radio receivers from 7 to 73% in three years. Applications of the WNCR Format enabled overseas pirate broadcasters to break governmental consumer radio monopolies, such as the BBC (UK). WNCR implemented such technological innovations as the synthesis of Stereo into Quadraphonic Sound, which today is known as "Surround Sound."

Jack was then invited by ABC to assist in establishing the ABC Progressive Rock FM Radio Network in Chicago, the first commercially successful FM Radio network in the USA. The new ABC FM Radio Network quickly became number one with thirty-seven primary major market station affiliations. The Network produced the first national weekly radio / television simulcast in American broadcasting history, "In Concert," which established the technologies and market foundations that gave birth to Music Television and led to the satellite broadcast of MTV.

In 1974, Mr. Craciun started CIII Productions, Inc. CIII produced and marketed a variety of projects in the broadcast and entertainment industries as a record, video, and film producer. CIII collaborated with Viacom on a successful Broadway show; co-produced a motion picture that won a music award at the Cannes Film Festival; produced the first television special at the Agora, the Number One Concert Club Chain in America; and also produced the first rock concert (and videotape production) in American military history, which accomplished in excess of one billion consumer impressions for the slogan "New Army" worldwide -- to kick off the bicentennial celebration of the USA.

The Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees) of the Robert F. Kennedy Youth Center (an innovative Federal "prison without walls" which maintained the lowest recidivism statistics in the nation) enlisted the aid of CIII to raise national awareness of the Center's youth habilitation programs. Mr. Craciun took this project to heart and founded the Robert F. Kennedy Scholarship Fund, Inc. (RFK Fund). Among the many firsts achieved on behalf our nation's troubled youth, the RFK Fund established the first deferred sentencing programs in American judicial history; and, with the Jaycees, created the nation's first youth crime task force. Other firsts benefiting the Fund included the production of an international marketing promotion of the image of the World Series Major League Baseball Trophy, and “The First FM Radiothon in US Broadcasting History: the "Double Fantasy" Radiothon to combat youth crime.  In 1982, the International Jaycees presented Jack its most prestigious award: Senator and Lifetime Member.

CIII Productions created, sold, and produced the concept of the world's largest hi-fi exhibition, "O-Hi-Fi-O." Held at the Cleveland Convention Center, the three-day educational, marketing, and sales exhibition was attended by 25,000 paying visitors, who were introduced to forty electronics manufacturers from Japan, Germany, and the US. CIII launched the event with a simulcast of its production, "Music, You're My Mother - the Agora." In excess of $500,000 worth of electronics equipment was sold during the three-day spectacular. The in-store promotions that followed brought sales to over $1 million. Manufacturers and retailers marketed the "O-Hi-Fi-O" concept worldwide.

Jack was then invited by Don Costa, "The Man for All Seasons of the American Music Industry," to consult his DC Productions of Beverly Hills. Costa productions produced such notable artists as Ella Fitzgerald, Paul Anka and Frank Sinatra, and soundtracks for such films as Zorba the Greek and The Misfits. CIII consulted the management of Costa's publishing and royalty portfolio, and also promoted Mr. Costa to produce, arrange, and conduct the music for the inauguration of US President Ronald Reagan.

In 1983, having long recognized the enormous potential for economic development and human rights initiatives in Asia and Eastern Europe born from US involvement in WWII and the Vietnam conflict, International Techno Marketing (ITM Ltd.) was founded in association with Dr. David F. Hostelley, CPA, by Mr. Jack Craciun III, Chairman/CEO, ITM Ltd. dba ITM Group. The ITM Communications Division, of which Jack is President, was formed to meet the need for education and technology transfer in those regions in the areas of communication, modern manufacturing and design, and human rights, and continues to be the foundation upon which ITM has grown.  In 1986 and 1987, the ITM Trading and ITM Capital Fund Divisions were established to meet the expanding worldwide reach of the ITM Group, its proprietary projects, and client base.

In 1985, ITM requested leaders of the People’s Republic of China (PRC), in Shanghai, to redefine the relationship between government, industry, and education to enhance foreign currency reserves by creating a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment that would design export products that meet industrialized nations' consumer demands, based on employing state-of-the-art design tools and implementing a program to educate design engineers in their use. The Twelve Shanghai Dao Ling Factories, number one suppliers of radio and home appliances in the world, with 80,000 employees, were chosen. ITM's first PRC agreement allowed for CAD CAM equipment and software to be provided, at no charge, for the newly established university program. Engineers from the Twelve Factories were required to learn computer design techniques side-by-side with the students. The Factories then purchased the equipment and software to create modern, state-of-the-art product engineering design facilities exclusively from ITM.

ITM Capital Fund Division then packaged and promoted a US $648 million re-finance deal in Japan for an American real estate corporation, and set up an Australian earth moving equipment company in the PRC to enable the Chinese to move containers of new export products from the factory to previously unreachable shipping ports. Craciun was invited to enjoy residency status in the PRC.

ITM began earnestly marketing American education, advertising, public relations, broadcasting, consumer product manufacturing, and related financial engineering concepts to nations throughout the Pacific Rim.  The success of these endeavors provided the motivation of substantial economic return potentials that promoted ITM Hong Kong Legal Counsel, Hong Kong tycoons, and PRC leaders to join forces with US companies, setting events in motion that culminated in 1987 with the launch of the Chinese Long March Rocket, which delivered a satellite that soon began to broadcast MTV in a footprint that encompassed an area from Japan to far beyond the western borders of Turkey.

While Jack was directed to focus on economic development and human rights activities in the United States and Asia, he consulted his younger brother, Jim Craciun, ITM Ltd. (US), President, and ITM Group, COO (Europe), who had been directed to focus on Eastern Europe, maintaining the pioneering initiatives of their Grandfather, John J. Craciun, Sr., who directly contributed to the establishment of the first Romanian Orthodox Church, St. Mary's, and the first Romanian American Bank in the USA, Pioneer Savings and Loan.  Jim Craciun helped draft and signed a memorandum condemning the Helsinki Accord; founded the World Union of Free Romanians (WUFR); and co-founded, with former US Ambassador to Romania, Dr. David B. Funderburk, the International Romanian Relief Fund (IRRF).  "Craciun," in Romanian, means "Christmas." And, on the Holy Day of Christmas, 1989, forty-five years of dedication by the Craciun Family to promote the defeat of communism in the streets and halls of government in the US, Romania, and Eastern Europe were completely fulfilled with the execution of Romanian Prime Minister Nicolae Ceausescu and his wife by the People's Tribunal of Romania, ending decades of Stalinist terror in Eastern Europe.

To promote a higher level of international trade, and to assist Romania and China in their international efforts to establish Foreign Currency Reserves, Jack brought the full dynamic of the ITM Communications, Trade, and Capital Fund Divisions together to consult  and promote TransAmerica Corp. to apply for, and be granted, Registration as an
"Approved Lender" of the Export-Import Bank of the United States. TransAmerica Distribution Finance was the first non-banking institution ever to be so approved.

In Hong Kong, the ITM began research to locate a "major" production and marketing niche that had not yet realized its full potential to complement the Asian business community and society in general.

Jack directed ITM to bid on producing Hong Kong's three major international/regional sailing events: the Corum China Sea Series, a Constituent Event of the Champagne Mumm World Cup, 1992; the 1992 Asia Pacific Etchells Championships; and the 1993 Dunhill San Fernando Race. ITM located within each event an opportunity to foster a spirit of public service, bringing government, industry, and the citizenry of Hong Kong together to engineer unprecedented charitable collaborations producing benevolent programs that create a legacy of improved social and cultural circumstances for future generations. ITM promoted the creation of the first race charity in the history of these events, the Full Gospel Faith Children's Home, established in the Philippines; secured the sponsorship of Reebok and Mobil Oil, and a motivational appearance by Dennis Connor, the world's premier sailor, in a much-needed fundraiser benefiting the Hong Kong Yachting Association's "Youth Sailing Fund;" and promoted the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club and race sponsors to petition Hong Kong Immigration authorities to relax their laws which prohibited entrance to Eastern European nationals.

The Associated Press (AP) provided international news coverage of the arrival of the All Russian Sailing Federation team at the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club in Victoria Harbor.

Concurrently, the ITM Communications Division initiated and fostered relationships with FM Radio broadcasters from Korea to Indonesia. The ITM team researched record sales, focusing on the outstanding artists in each market, and chose to establish Leon Lai (Lai Ming), Hong Kong's Canto-pop teen idol, as the first Asian international crossover artist of the new millennium. Leon Lai began his internationally-acclaimed Asian tour in 1994, and, by the late 1990’s, was performing sold-out concerts in Las Vegas, Vancouver, Toronto, and around the Pacific Rim.

Jack met with longtime friend and colleague, Jeff Kutash, in Los Angeles, to discuss and consult on international artist exchange programs between the United States and Asia. Kutash, producer of the nine-time number one Las Vegas show Splash, then initiated transactions with Asian investors pursuant to the construction of a US $52 million purpose-built performance theater in Osaka, Japan, which showcased Splash in a two-year licensing transaction. The governor of Nevada referred to the transaction as "establishing Nevada's new export product: Entertainment."

ITM Communications maintained an international focus on marketing all news and public relations surrounding the grand opening of the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame and related celebrations and concert events produced at the Cleveland Agora via ITM's media network throughout Asia. During these events, it became apparent, because of bandwidth limitations, that cellular communications and wireless internet access were inefficient and unreliable.

Craciun returned to Hong Kong and, supported by the global network of ITM Associates, conducted an international research initiative of government agencies, private companies, and educational institutions, to locate a new technology which could provide adequate bandwidth to ensure uninterrupted communications and the ability to transfer large amounts of data around the world without wires. After eighteen months of research and expense, a development-stage bandwidth modulation technology known as VMSK was located in Akron, Ohio.

The ITM Group entered the Twenty-First Century by forging a Joint Venture partnership with, and consulting to, an American technology development company, AlphaCom Inc., of Akron, Ohio, on the development of a revolutionary new bandwidth modulation technology called “VMSK,” with exclusive marketing and manufacturing rights to Asia, Romania, Bulgaria, and Venezuela.  ITM led in the development of the  AlphaCom SB2 IPO filing which received SEC approval.

Jack was invited by the Director of Programming and Public Relations, and Jim Craciun, co-chair of the Cultural Committee, to consult the 2004 International Children's Games - the first Games in their 36-year history to take place in the United States, for which some three-thousand teenaged athletes from over 148 cities in 57 countries came to Cleveland to participate in the International Olympic Committee-endorsed competition, which motivated the establishment of the United States International Children's Games Foundation in 2005.

In early 2003, Mr. Craciun quietly exited his world of rewarding business and centric focus on pioneering in China to focus exclusively upon, what unimaginably became, a five year “total” dedication to the death-to-life fight of an unborn innocent who was to become his 8th child:  Grace Noelle Craciun (or Grace “The Ace” Craciun as dad likes to call his newest Angel).  In the 23rd week of pregnancy the Grace story began with an Our Lady of Lourdes miracle that returned her to life minutes after she was pronounced dead at birth by the attending NICU doctors.  A second miracle arrived to save her right arm from amputation 45 minutes after her soul was returned.  The fulfillment of the Grace Blessing arrived in full-bloom on the sixth Christmas of her life. Her middle and last names translate into “Christmas!” Today, thanks to the miracles, Baby Grace “The Ace” lives and loves with 100% of every human potential.

In 2006, Jack was compelled to begin focusing on how to renew his life and business in Cleveland, Ohio, a community where he hadn’t done business since the seventies when he helped to birth the commercially successful, global phenomenon of Progressive FM Radio (WNCR), produced The First Rock Concert in Military History to Kick-off the Bicentennial of the USA, and established the Robert F. Kennedy Scholarship Fund, which produced the first radio-thon in broadcasting history to combat youth crime.  During the five year dedication to Grace, his Chinese Associates maintained ITM (China).  Upon the reestablishment of ITM (US) in Cleveland, his hometown, he produced, with Adelphia Communications, the Music Award Program and Agora Ballroom Concert that acknowledged the Cleveland legends’ who branded Cleveland as the Rock and Roll Capital of the World and made it the home of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum – Cleveland’s Exclusive Global Cultural Landmark.

In late 2006, the most unimaginable event occurred -- an event that would renew and stretch the world and times of Mr. Craciun and set ITM (US) on fire to fulfill their 25 year global focus on marketing, for the first time in history, the birth and early stage evolution of the history and culture of China to the world,  a job his dad gave him to do in 1984. Jack arrived in China to pioneer in 1985. His dad died 11 months later.

Occasionally Jack will mention that his 9th child is a Fire Dragon.

The ITM Consumer Product Division was established in 2009 to implement two new proprietary international public relations and eCommerce consumer product marketing programs developed by the ITM Communications Division. ITM has previously nurtured a myriad of global entertainment media and intellectual property and consumer product licensing, manufacturing, and merchandising opportunities focused on developing new economic generators in third-world markets.

The First Dragon™ Enterprise and its 19 Characters are all about education & entertainment. Its literature, developed by Fr. (Dr.) George Smiga, S.T.D. and Lorinda Laughlin, Fine Art & Calligraphy by Aiqin Zhou, A Living Treasure of China, and The First Dragon Music Suite™ produced by Darren Anthony, Concept and Lyrics; John Stevens, Music Composer; David Merriam, Vocalist; and Jackie Bertolette, Executive Producer, will, for the first time in history, tell the story of the birth & evolution of Chinese culture and the birth & evolution of The First Dragon™  in The Rock and Roll Capital of the World, Cleveland Ohio.

ITM will partner with corporate sponsors and venturers as well as embark on an intensive program of licensing in all entertainment and consumer product venues in international markets.

As with all ITM Group Divisions, the Consumer Products Division only deals with members of its Venturer / Consultant Groups, and/or Strategic Alliances, and a select base of ventures and sponsors.
